These photos are of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. There are so many images of this structure, I wanted to do something a little different than most. I chose to make these images B&W to remove the iconic paint colour (a very distinctive part of the bridge) and to capture only a small part of the structure. The intent was to make the subject of the photos not obvious at first glance.
We were very fortunate on the day of our visit to the bridge; the fog rolled in while we were there. We walked across the bridge in the bright sunshine with great visibility in every direction. We walked back completely mired in a very dense fog!
