Instax in Vegas

The Diana+ is a plastic camera from Lomography (even the lens!) It is a replica of the Diana camera which was originally produced as a novelty toy. Photos from these cameras are known for their "soft, dreamy" look - caused partly from the inexpensive plastic construction and partly from the fact that focusing it somewhat guesswork. There are markings for different focus ranges on the lens, but unlike an SLR or DSLR, you cannot see through the lens - there is no way to know if you have a sharp focus or not.

Lomography also sells accessories for these cameras. I purchased an Instant Back, which allows the camera to use Instax Mini film. I took mine to Las Vegas in the fall of 2011 and had a blast playing with it. The following images are some of my favourites.
